Workplace Walking Leader

There is an increasing interest in finding ways to increase activity levels in the workplace setting - and we are pleased to have been invited to be part of a new initiative to do so!

In conjunction with the Irish Heart Foundation and Healthy Ireland we developed and piloted a 1-day Training Workshop to enable staff in HSE Workplaces lead simple INDOOR and OUTDOOR ideas geared at increasing 'stepping/walking' levels among their colleagues. The feedback has been so positive that more workshops are being planned for 2017.
